USED BOOK SALE – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2010

In just one day, the GHE PAC raised $1000 through the sale of your donated used books! Half of the money raised will go to support PAC initiatives such as new technologies for the classroom, while the other $500 will be donated directly to the Emmanuel Boys Rescue Centre in Kenya, an organization which provides care and educational opportunities for youth at risk.

Your generosity is what made this event possible. We want to thank EVERYONE for bringing in books that were of such high quality that they were easy to sell. And with so many volunteers, the sale was a breeze! We'd like to thank the following people for their special part in this very successful event.  

Sue Heikoop (school librarian as well as a GHE parent), Sue Sweeney (GHE Secretary), Marion Abramo, Catherine Croucher, Tracey Scott, Tony Vogel, Carol Zuckernick, Jill Carter, Terra Gaddes and Dara Bell.
