Dear Parents, June is always a very busy month with a number of field trips and year end celebrations. (Click here for a list of all of upcoming events and important dates in June.) A special upcoming event that we wanted everyone to know about is our Year End Slide Show scheduled for Tuesday, June 22nd at 2:00pm which is a compilation of photos chronicling the 2009-2010 school year. Children are looking forward to this show and parents are welcome to attend. The final day students will be in attendance is Tuesday, June 29th. Students will be here from 9:00 to 10:00am to collect their report cards and say good bye to their classmates. Please note that our school will be hosting a Parent Appreciation Tea on June 29th while the children are in class this final day. We are fortunate at Garibaldi Highlands Elementary to have such keen children in our school and we greatly appreciate the support provided by our parents throughout the entire school year.
